What’s New With Angela Moody
Historical author, Writing/Editing expert, and wicked cat lover
Storyteller at Heart
Angela Moody lives in Vermont with her husband, Jim, and their cat, Billy.
Angela has been writing from an early age. The greatest influence on her choice of genre was Anya Seton, a historical novelist.
Her heart always deep in history, if Mr. Peabody and his boy, Sherman, really did have a way-back machine, she would be the first one in it.
One of her passions is crochet. From the time she learned the craft, she was “hooked”. She loves reading, writing, spending time with her family, and volunteering at the Ethan Allen Homestead Museum in Burlington, VT.
"Those who tell the stories rule society"
No Safe Haven
Spunky, fifteen-year-old Tillie Pierce loves her life just as it is and considers her family safe from the Civil War—until Confederate soldiers overrun her hometown of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Sent to “safety” on a farm, she seeks shelter right in the battle zone. The next days test not only her beliefs and friendships, but also her instincts and attitude. Does she have the gumption to trust a God who could give her hope? How can she when He allows such tragedy?
No Safe Haven in Audiobook
I am extremely proud and honored to share my latest page turner with you. My close friends, family, and of course my narrator know how much work was put into getting this book ready for release and publication. I’m so excited to finally share No Safe Haven with a wider audience and hope you enjoy it.
Volunteerism and History
One thing I love to do as a lover of history is to volunteer at the Ethan Allen Homestead Museum in Burlington, VT. Here I finished a tour with this lovely couple from Massachusetts and they bought my novel from the gift shop.
